Book excerpt: Did you ever wonder what it is that sets us apart form all of GodÕs other creatures? It certainly has to do with the fact that we can think and reason in abstract respects. But I believe it is more than that. There are any number of various virtues that we either follow or disregard that determine how we view life and how others view the lives we lead. In this, my latest volume of poems, we can take a serious look at 101 of these valuable virtues. Quite often just looking at the list and considering what personal meaning each on has in our lives can make a significant difference in how we live, how we love and how we treat each other.
